Pete Emmons of “That’s Agra-Tastic:” has announced a special show episode on

January 30th: “Inside the Iowa State Fair Organization” State Fair Organization” with Special guest, Jeremy Parsons, CEO.

Parsons has been CEO of the Iowa State Fair since 2023 and has over 30 years of

professional fair experience in a wide variety of roles. His fair path has included:

Serving as Executive Director of The Missouri State Fair Foundation, being 2022

Chairperson of The International Association of Fairs and Expositions, Past President

of the Mid-West Fair Association, being a member of The Iowa Tourism Advisory Group

and more.

Mr. Parsons will address major goals of their strategic plan, Fairground comfort

enhancements, as well as share information about the 200 other events held on the

historic Fairgrounds during the year.
